For over a decade, Amy Elmore lived a life of glamour, fame and financial freedom of an international celebrity. By the time she was seventeen, she had appeared on the covers of Seventeen, Elle and Cosmopolitan.
It seemed like she had it all, but in her darkest moment she experienced a psychotic break. This led to depression, a near-fatal suicide attempt and a diagnosis of bi-polar disorder. Amy has overcome her demons to realize that her life's purpose is to help others to live freer, richer, more fulfilling lives. She shares her years of struggle and how she reclaimed her life--and found recovery--by discovering her voice.

Thank you so much for taking your time to come speak to our girls it was such an amazing experience for them as well as the staff. There were 18 girls present at the presentation and I strongly believe you made an impact on every single one of their lives. The girls now know that happiness comes from within and that there are always people out there to help them.
Thank you again, Lindsey Kennedy Boys & Girls Club of Greater Conejo Valley
“I truly enjoyed hearing Amy’s story including personal struggles early in her career and how she overcame them. The messages that our students took away from their experience with Amy was invaluable: learning to advocate for yourself, knowing where to get help when faced with mental health challenges, and understanding that our worth in life is not based on appearance.” .Thanks, Angela ZookCareer CounselorBirmingham Community Charter High School
